BACKING LOCAL BUSINESS

I regularly visit and engage with local enterprises to listen to their concerns and in Parliament, I call for businesses friendly tax reforms and campaign to cut red tape. With the vital role local businesses play creating jobs and wealth and contributing to the economy we need to do all we can to enable them to flourish. Spelthorne has already achieved a large degree of success but Brexit offers us many exciting new opportunities and I'm very pleased that Spelthorne has proven that it is open for business and I am confident we can continue this trend moving forward.

KWASI'S VIEW ON BREXIT

Our trading relationship with Europe did not begin in 1973 and nor will it end in 2019, it will simply evolve and move onto the next phase in our centuries long association. We now have an exciting opportunity to shape our country, free from the constraints of the EU.

KWASI - ACTIVE IN THE COMMUNITY

There is so much happening in the Borough. We are very lucky to have so many active clubs and societies. Kwasi isn't afraid of getting involved. He has always championed the unique heritage of the Borough and backed local voluntary organisations. He supports the Spelthorne Natural History Society, Voluntary Action in Spelthorne and the Spelthorne Museum. He is also a member of the Shepperton Horticultural Society and can be seen watching Staines and Ashford Football Clubs playing at the weekends.

Rt. Hon THERESA MAY

Prime Minister

MAKING BREXIT A SUCCESS IS CENTRAL TO OUR NATIONAL INTEREST

As a nation, we face the most important period in our lifetime. Making Brexit a success is central to our national interest - and it is central to your own security and prosperity.

So as Prime Minister, I have ensured that my Government has clearly set out our approach to Brexit through:

  • My Lancaster House Speech setting out our 12-point plan for Brexit
  • The Government's Official White Paper on exiting the EU
  • The UK's Article 50 Letter to the President of the European Council
  • The Great Repeal Bill to ensure a smooth and orderly Brexit

WITH A STRONG NEGOTIATING HAND I CAN DELIVER FOR YOU AND FOR BRITAIN

By going to Brussels with a strong negotiating hand, I can ensure we guarantee our economic security and deliver my Plan for a Stronger Britain that will:

  • Establish Britain as the strongest country in Europe, in economlc growth and national security. We will negotiate a deep and special partnership with our European neighbours. We will strike export deals for British goods and services. And we will lead the world in preventing terrorism and fighting modern slavery.
  • Build a stronger economy that rewards people who work hard and creates secure and well paid jobs. We will make sure there is growth and prosperity around the whole country.
  • Provide real opportunity and support for all. We will give everyone a chance to get on in life, by building enough affordable housing and making sure there is a good school place for every child. And our strong economy will pay for a strong NHS.
  • Build a more secure and united nation by taking action against the extremists who try to divide our society and standing up to the separatists who want to break up our country

WITH YOUR HELP - AND YOUR VOTE FOR MY LOCAL CANDIDATE - TOGETHER WE CAN GET BREXIT RIGHT AND SECURE OUR ECONOMIC FUTURE

The only way you can back me to ensure we get Brexit right is by voting for my candidate in your local constituency.

It's important to remember that a vote for anyone other than my local candidate lisksJeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister of a shambolic coalition government.

So back me by giving my local candidate your support on 8thJune. We are standing to secure a strong and stable government for our country that will deliver the best Brexit deal for you, and economic security for Britain.

WE NEED THIS ELECTION NOW - Theresa May

We need this election now to secure the strong and stable leadership that the United Kingdom needs to see us through Brexit and beyond; to lock in the economic progress we have made together.

Our Labour, Lib Dem and SNP opponents are already seeking to disrupt our Brexit negotiations. This is in addition to
the 27 European countries lining up to oppose us.

Their position can only mean one thing - uncertainty for the British people; bringing grave risk to our growing economy with higher taxes, fewer jobs, more waste and more debt.

GETTING ON WITH THE JOB OF SECURING THE BEST POSSIBLE DEAL FROM BREXIT IS VITAL.

Our future prosperity, our place in the world, and our standard of living all depend on getting the Brexit deal right.

And with your he[p, together we con make it work.

We will:

  • Toke back control of our borders, our laws and our money
  • Sign new trade deals around the world with new friends and old partners
  • Ensure we leave in a smooth and orderly way, and that Brexit works for the whole of the United Kingdom
  • Provide as much clarity as possible at every stage of the process, while maintaining a strong negotiating hand

Getting Brexit right matters because it will decide whether or not our children have a safe, secure and prosperous future.

The only way you can ensure we have the strong and stable leadership to get this right is by backing me, and voting for my
Conservative candidate in your locaI area.
