Kwasi regularly engages with local businesses and on 12th November he held a virtual constituency business surgery. This was an opportunity for local business owners to give Kwasi a brief outline of their business or business idea, and to ask him any questions or advice.
The business surgery was organised with the help of the Spelthorne Business Hub, which opened in June and is the borough’s first ever business incubator. With an exciting range of business support, the Hub will help fledgling entrepreneurs create real commercial impact and generate new opportunities for the future.
Kwasi firmly believes that there are many talented entrepreneurs in Spelthorne who will be able to help build a strong economic footing and boost business, with guidance from the Council teams. In particular, he is confident that a number of these businesses will be keen to play their part in the battle against climate change as we transition to a green future, and he is excited to see further results from the Hub.
