SPELTHORNE MP Kwasi Kwarteng has secured a parliamentary debate on the proposed Charlton Lane eco-park, scheduled for later this year.
Mr Kwarteng has tabled an adjournment debate for September 5 in the House of Commons that is due to last around 30 minutes.
He will make a speech, and it will be responded to by the relevant minister.
Campaigners vow to fight eco-park decision.
Surrey County Council approved plans for the controversial eco park at a special planning and regulatory committee meeting on June 30.
The eco park will deal with 40,000 tonnes of food waste and 60,000 tonnes of household rubbish each year.....
