Prime Minister David Cameron assessed the groundwater flooding of Staines from a resident's living room during a visit to the flood-hit town this week.
Member of Parliament for Spelthorne, Kwasi Kwarteng, told Get Surrey the Prime Minister’s visit to Staines was a “very practical way” to view the flooding situation .
Mr Cameron visited houses on Guildford Street in Staines on Tuesday (February 11).
Mr Kwarteng said: “It was really great and good to see him with residents on Guildford Street.
