Spelthorne MP Kwasi Kwarteng will support further opposition to the approved Shepperton eco-park after writing to Communities Secretary Eric Pickles requesting a judicial review.
Mr Kwarteng said it was important to readdress the Charlton Lane proposal following the approval of 43 amendments to the planning application – leaving those opposed to the plans feeling more positive.
In a letter to a concerned resident, Paul Estall, Mr Kwarteng said: "I am aware that the county council passed the amendments to the proposals earlier this week, and I am very conscious of the local opposition.
"Given the number of amendments now made to the original plans I can confirm that I have written again to the Secretary of State to explain the current position and to again ask that he calls the proposals in for review."
