On 3rd March, Kwasi visited the community hub at Lord Knyvett Hall and the Stanwell Community Allotments, which are both run by the Local Conversation in Stanwell. The Local Conversation is a fantastic grass roots initiative to create a well-connected, healthy and active community.
Over the past year, more than 1,500 adults and children took part in their activities including a Lantern Parade, Diwali celebrations, exercise classes, Family Fundays, and activities at the Stanwell Community Allotments. The Allotments enables residents to spend time outside, developing practical skills, enjoying the therapeutic benefits of gardening, and making new friends.
Kwasi is delighted that Stanwell has such a thriving community, and he would like to thank all the volunteers at the Local Conversation for the fantastic community work they continue to do.
