On 23rd June, Kwasi visited the Stanwell Community Allotments, which is run by the Local Conversation. The Local Conversation is a fantastic grass roots initiative to create a well-connected, healthy and active community.
Kwasi was delighted to meet with some of the allotment volunteers, and to hear more about how Local Conversation is supporting young people through its partners, Mindful Ninja and the Phoenix Project. Kwasi was very interested to meet with both the project coordinators and young people who have recently completed Mental Health First Aid training through these projects.
Kwasi is delighted that Stanwell has such a thriving community, and he would like to thank all the volunteers at the Local Conversation for the fantastic community work they continue to do.
