Kwasi has long been a supporter of the ‘Spelthorne In The Zone’ campaign, and was pleased to meet with the Secretary of State for Transport, Mark Harper MP, on 30 January to again press the case for extending TfL zone 6 to all our train stations in Spelthorne.
Some areas of Spelthorne have once again been affected by flooding following the recent heavy rain.
This can be devastating for homes and businesses, and Kwasi has been keeping in touch with the relevant agencies to ensure that those affected are supported.
On 21st November, Kwasi was delighted to meet with pupils from Springfield Primary School after their tour of the Palace of Westminster. Kwasi was impressed by how engaged and well-behaved the pupils were even after a long tour.
On 22nd September, Kwasi was pleased to take part in the unveiling of the River Ash Corridor, known as Studios Walk.
The project has made the diverse and beautiful nature of Shepperton more accessible to its residents while maximizing the area’s wildlife and biodiversity.
