Last Friday, Kwasi visited the Stanwell Family Centre, which supports children aged 0-11 and their families through a range of services and activities.
Kwasi was delighted to visit Shepperton Studios on 3rd March. Shepperton Studios provides one of the UK’s most complete range of physical facilities for film and television productions, and its clients include leading film and television producers from the UK, USA, Europe and beyond.
On 3rd March, Kwasi visited the community hub at Lord Knyvett Hall and the Stanwell Community Allotments, which are both run by the Local Conversation in Stanwell. The Local Conversation is a fantastic grass roots initiative to create a well-connected, healthy and active community.
Last Friday, Kwasi visited the market on Staines High Street. He thoroughly enjoyed talking with his constituents and sampling some of the market’s impressive food offerings. Staines is lucky to have such a thriving high street and a wide variety of local traders.
On January 27th, Kwasi presented a cheque for £466,513 to Spelthorne Rentstart. He was delighted that Rentstart were successful in their application to the National Lottery Community Fund for this vital funding.
On 17th January, Kwasi led a Westminster Hall debate on Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). SUDC is the sudden and unexpected death of a child between 1 and 18 years of age, which remains unexplained after thorough investigation.
Last Friday, Kwasi was delighted to visit Tax Systems, a software company based in Staines. Tax Systems is the leading provider of tax compliance software solutions in the UK and Ireland.
On 13th January, Kwasi met with Home-Start Spelthorne. Home-Start is a network of trained volunteers and expert support that help families with young children through challenging times.
