On 19th May, Kwasi visited Echelford Primary School in Ashford. He enjoyed speaking to a wide range of students, from years 2 to 6, about his work as an MP and the role of the government.
Kwasi visited the Walton Art Club’s spring exhibition at the Squire Garden Centre in Shepperton on 19th May. He was very impressed by the quality of artwork.
On 28th April, Kwasi met with Julia and Christian Rogers, who tragically lost their son Louis in June 2021. Louis’ death was initially categorised as Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC), which is the 4th leading category of death in England and Wales for children aged 1-4 years.
On 28th April, Kwasi visited the offices of dnata UK, who are one of the major employers in the borough. They employ over 2000 staff, primarily at their London Heathrow operation.
On 14th April, Kwasi visited the Tesco Pharmacy in Sunbury. It was a useful opportunity for Kwasi to hear first-hand about some of the pharmacy’s concerns, and to discuss the Government’s forthcoming primary care recovery plan.
On 24th March, Kwasi held a series of business surgeries at the Spelthorne Business Hub in Sunbury. This was a great opportunity to meet with entrepreneurs and business owners from across Spelthorne and to discuss their plans for the future.
Kwasi is a keen supporter of local business, and he understands that many of the businesses around Woodthorpe Road have been impacted by the ongoing ESSO pipeline work.
