On 22nd of March, Kwasi enjoyed a visit to Sunbury Manor School.
Kwasi toured the school and was very impressed by the facilities. The school has recently enjoyed the addition of new buildings including a building dedicated to music and drama.
On Friday 22nd March, Kwasi enjoyed a visit to Surplus to Supper in Sunbury-on-Thames. The visit provided a firsthand look at the remarkable work being done by this charity to combat food waste and support local communities.
On Friday 8th March, Kwasi was pleased to visit Clarendon Primary School in Ashford as they took part in the Let Girls Play Campaign’s 'Biggest Ever Football Session'.
On Friday 23rd February, Kwasi met with Shepperton residents to discuss the impact of flooding on their homes and the potential implications of the River Thames Scheme.
Kwasi was delighted to host an Apprenticeship Fair on the 9th of February at the Jobs and Skills Hub in Staines Upon Thames, supported by Spelthorne Borough Council. The event brought together over 20 employers, local students, and anyone else interested in apprenticeships.
Kwasi has long been a supporter of the ‘Spelthorne In The Zone’ campaign, and was pleased to meet with the Secretary of State for Transport, Mark Harper MP, on 30 January to again press the case for extending TfL zone 6 to all our train stations in Spelthorne.
